French toast, crepes, german pancake, strata, or frittata,
to name a few.
Most mornings, include a "fresh only" fruit compote or
Judy's Herb garden supplies fresh herbs year round.
Chocolate Mint, Lime Mint,
Apple Mint and Lemon Mint were
added to Spearmint, and Orange mint.
Rosemary, basil, lemon thyme, flat leaf and curly parsley
are grown as well.
Each morning, delectable, hot-from-the-oven, always made-from-scratch
fill the house with a tantalizing aroma.
Our signature "Georgia Butter Pecan" muffin
is the perfect prelude to the
Pecans come straight from our friends' trees in "Little Italy",
Benld, Illinois, and
were hand picked by the Schellers of Benld.
Norm and Judy cracked, hulled and sorted them.
Imagine another of our
first prize muffins, such as
Bananas & Cream with chocolate chips,
Peaches & Cream, Cherries & Cream
(with fruit from our own cherry tree),
Double Chocolate Banana, or
maybe another of Norm's favorites
New for 2011, we've added a Cranberry Orange muffin,
drizzled with the most delicious icing.
Guests may also be
surprised with a very "Victorian" scone, old fashioned sweet bread,
a slice of
Apple *Cinnabon (*registered tm) coffee cake in place of the muffin.
Voted Number One
entrees by our guests, our 'Peach Cranberry Stuffed Croissants' with
Judy's own Vanilla Syrup, and our 'Eight Cheese Crust-less Quiche' have ended in a tie. You might also find that Judy's favorite,
Apple Sausage Quiche, Queen's French Toast Marmalade, or Peach Blueberry Stuffed Custard French

Not so adventurous....? We happily serve the simpler fare upon request.

No matter the menu, we strive to please.
We serve KONA
coffee, which arrives by express, "straight from the Isles of
Treat yourself to something special. Request a flavored Kona from
our numerous varieties,
or choose from our display of more than 50 regular, herbal,
and "caffeine free" teas.

informing us prior to your arrival,
regarding any special diets,
food dislikes and/or allergies.
This will insure that we have the
items on hand
to prepare a breakfast which will accommodate special requirements, including Vegetarian,
Gluten-Free, or Diabetic dishes to name a few.
Full breakfast is served commonly between 8:30 and 9:30.

When there is a requirement that breakfast occurs prior to 7:30am,
please let us know in advance, so we can prepare a To Go Bag.
